Helgrind.Reference.Sheet

My new character Helgrind. He's a guardian of the Underworld. He's pretty good at keeping his cool.

Design Notes

- Body is NOT in anyway black. It is a deep and dull red. Black may not be used in his design at all.
- Shading is to be done in blue.
- Highlights or tints are to be done in a reddish hue.

- Tongue is molten lava
- Eyes are molten lava
- Tears are molten lava
- Paw pads are molten lava
- Blood is molten lava
- Thoughts are molten lava

- When skin is torn or punctured, lava pours out but quickly cools.

- He runs with his eyes closed or else they start to cool
- Always in shape, if not skin and bones (rib cage and spine show).

- When angered his lava "blob" becomes more orange and red


- The spikes covering his back and stomach as well as his teeth are obsidian shards.


In Norse Mythology, Helgrind is the main entrance to Hel.
